Nice hotel; clean and adequate. Lifts are really Old and really slow especially at peak times! Our room was ok, the lights didn’t work and the shower amenities were broken but fixed quite quickly after requesting them to be. Car park is fine and very large, breakfast was ok but to be honest, for what you pay, you may as well go elsewhere as it’s a bit dry and not that tasty! Overall an average stay, feels like it needs a bit of a refurb as tired in places.

We stayed here over a weekend. There is parking under the building which you pay for on a machine in the foyer of the hotel. We were given a warm welcome by the staff who told us where to pay to park, how to get to our rooms & where breakfast is served etc. The rooms were a decent size and came with free wifi, tea and coffee and a decent iron & ironing board. The frosted glass wardrobe door doubles up as a door for the bathroom which I wasn't keen on but it's a good idea to save space. We were in the room when room service came round, but we were left with a neat bag with extra towels and loo roll which was thoughtful. I was impressed that no noise could be heard from outside, considering the location it's surprisingly quiet and I got a great night's sleep. The breakfast had a wide selection, cereal, 'english breakfast' , waffles, fruit, hams & cheers etc. The bar was open when we got back at around midnight which was welcomed after our walk back from the m&s arena.

I know not to expect the same level of Hilton however it was still disappointing, the beds weren’t very comfortable and a good nights sleep is the main reason you take an hotel room The maintenance of the room was only fair, some of the lights didn’t work, the toilets door was not working well and a few other small issues that just didn’t feel right for an hotel charging over £200 a night
