Grade I Listed. Located on the north horizontal axis of the central square, opened in 1911 and attributed to Barry Parker, Raymond Unwin and Edwin Lutyens. The facade a distinctive eclectic design featuring a low dome with an acutely pitched roof, a geometry of exterior angles and unusually large protruding Dormer windows. The elegantly restrained two-toned “silver-grey” and red brick dressings and quoin detailing, referencing and complementing St Jude on the southern axis. An idiosyncratic mash-up and reinterpretation of Gothic, Classic and Arts and Crafts elements that’s both audacious and innovative.

NEW YEAR'S EVE CELEBRATION AND FIREWORKS. As usual the church hosted the community of all denominations for drinks and nibbles followed by the annual residents association firework display. 10 stunning minutes of amazing fireworks. Every year the display is amazingly even better than the one before. I heard someone who hadn't been before say "I was expecting a couple odd bangs and a few sparklers as it's only a local affair" If that's how you've thought Chinese next year and be amazed.
