We had five large Victorian sash windows replaced with bespoke double glazing from this family run company including a technically difficult triple sash. Rob and his team were fantastic from beginning to end, keeping us informed at every step and the workmen were very considerate in the house. We are absolutely delighted with our upgraded sash windows and I can wholeheartedly recommend Hampshire Sash Window Services. The original part of our 1830s house had 12 large, beautiful, but very draughty sash windows, one with a curved head and glazing bars. We opted for full replacement with double glazed units, draught proofing and re-decoration (including the shutters). The difference the new units have made is huge in terms of draught elimination, noise reduction and our heating bills – and the quality of craftmanship is amazing. From the day that Rob arrived to survey the windows and provide us with a quote until the day the project was completed, he and the team at Hampshire Sash Window Services were consummately professional, knowledgeable, courteous and tidy. Progress and next steps were regularly communicated and they always arrived when they said they would, with the right numbers and skills to complete the day's work. Problems encountered were quickly and creatively solved by the team. We accepted upfront that additional, un-costed work may be necessary, but the small amount found was reasonable and the price justified in detail. Highly recommended!

Sash windows are a very specialised area of expertise, and one wants to entrust them to the right people. We were very lucky to find Rob Gill's company, whose work couldn't have been improved upon, despite the eighteenth century architecture throwing up some unusual challenges. We are now enjoying quieter and warmer rooms, with the sash windows having been re-aligned and draught-proofed. Andy and Laurence are also the only tradesmen we have ever met who left the site cleaner than they found it! We would warmly recommend them.

Right from the start, Rob was great. He arrived to survey the windows and was professional and enthusiastic. He was totally knowledgeable, efficient and reliable throughout. Rob and his team made an excellent job of revealing the beauty of our sash windows, uncovering them from secondary glazing and refurbishing them. They are the most important feature in our home and thanks to Rob and his team, we enjoy them every day. Rob recommended other skilled trades to us and they were all great.
