found the mediator to be quite arrogant and unhelpful, took it upon himself to close the case despite not having my consent , had to send him information several times from both parties and did not communicate , very abrasive and condescending and unhelpful. would not recommend

Mediation - Great in principle, poor in practice. Even if it’s the wrong thing to do, Hampshire Mediation forces you towards the middle of either of either parties’ perspectives. It only works if both parties are acting in good faith and Hampshire mediation gives you no ability to disprove statements which are demonstrably false meaning there is an incentive to lie. If using Hampshire Mediation, please bear in mind that anything you discuss in the initial meeting with the mediator is likely to be brought up in the joint sessions with the other party. Personally, i found this a major breach of trust hence the 2-star review.

I was intending to use this mediation firm and changed my mind after two separate phone conversations in November and December 2019. To say I found the mediator abrasive and unhelpful would be something of an understatement.
