I’m just ordinary folk, from the other side of the tracks so to speak. Don Perignon, Laurent Perrier Cuvee Rose; all this kinda thing’s way outta my comfort zone. I’ve never even drunk the stuff before. I’m more of a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout girl every now and then. But I had to get a very special thank you gift for a really lovely solicitor guy who’d saved me and hubby thousands of pounds in legal bills by helping us out free of charge. Came across HL by chance on Google, read the reviews, went on the website, chose what I wanted and got it. It was dear and I’ve never spent this kind of money on a gift before because I’ve never earned enough to warrant even thinking about doing something like this. But I thought I’d dip into my savings and splash the cash by getting something extra special. I’m not sure about the app though. HL sent a link for the Shop app so I could track my order. I downloaded it and it said when Shop get a tracking number from HL I could track my order. I couldn’t do it and I don’t know if it’s because Shop never got the tracking number. It was delivered on Sunday like I wanted but I didn’t know and the guy who was getting the gift didn't call me, so I thought it hadn't been delivered. Straight away I emailed HL asking for a refund and soon after got a lovely text from Sherree. She said it’d been delivered and a neighbour had it. I was a bit worried because, like I already said, it was pricey and I kept thinking it’d get stolen but Sherree called the guy who I got the gift for so he would get it from his next door neighbour when he got home. She was great. The gift was a fantastic surprise. He really really liked it, and me and hubby were happy too. Would I use them again? Yeah, I would. I'm not sure I'd get the same gift I ordered again though because I couldn't afford to but I've looked on the website and they sell other things I could afford. So if I’m looking for a gift for someone I’ll definitely go to them again and see what they’ve got.

For the last 2 years I have sent my mother a hamper from a well known shop in Piccadilly, they are wonderful but they are also quite expensive. So this year I looked into it a little more and found Hamper Lounge, I chose what I wanted & felt pleased with the price. It didn’t disappoint at all, the packaging was perfect and delivered just when they said it would be. I know where I will be buying from going forward.

I ordered a gourmet hamper for a friend who was going through a difficult time, and she was so happy to receive what I sent.
