We recently appointed Hammond Properties to manage our small block of flats in Beckenham. From experience, a good block management company in the South East is very hard to find. Hammond Properties have already excelled where past local management companies have failed for us. They just seem to be able to get things done, proactively find solutions, and deliver good value. As a resident, it is wonderful to now have a fair service charge that results in quality work being done. It's also a very personal service from Joe, Lucy and Lee, which means your block is not just a statistic on a computer system to them. They'll agree a proper holistic strategy with you, and communicate regularly. I would recommend appointing Hammonds as they take a genuine interest in doing a good job, and it really does make all the difference!

Despite it being ruled unlawful just this week this estate agency discriminates against the long-term disabled by refusing to accept those on Universal Credit / disability benefits. Shocking attitude. Additional information following their response. Their email to me said: “Unfortunately any applicant will have to be in full time employment whose employer can confirm their earnings to ensure our referencing agency can calculate their affordability.” That’s EXACTLY the same as saying no DSS.
