We've been unlucky enough to have to call on Hammonds three times in recent days for problems on our 8-year-old DS3. Each time, they've been absolutely brilliant and we can't speak highly enough of the service they've provided. Two of those problems related to the car's main lights 1. a headlight bulb, supplied and fitted really quickly and at a most reasonable charge, and 2. a problem with one of the front fog lights, which was sorted inside three minutes and at no charge - the connector had dropped off the bulb. Very honest of the mechanic concerned. The third issue was the replacement of the car's rear coil springs, which were both changed in an hour and at a huge saving against other prices quoted elsewhere. Hammonds service and MOT both our cars and we have the greatest confidence and trust in them. One of their MOT testers even found a fault on our other car which had gone unnoticed for seven years at three different previous MOT testing stations including the dealership we bought that car from. Based on our experience, we can therefore fully recommend them. Services: Steering & suspension replacement, General repairs & maintenance

These guys seem like genuinely lovely people. I had taken my car elsewhere recently and was told I needed XYZ doing, was gutted as hadn’t noticed an issue. For convenience I took it to Hammond to have the work done, and was then explained there was nothing wrong and this work didn’t need doing. I’m still so surprised as I was ready to pay to have it done, I feel most places I’ve ever been for my cars I’ve been taken for a ride, but of course it’s often hard to prove. The service from beginning to end was incredible, can’t fault anything just feel bad for wasting their time! Would 100% recommend. :)
