After reading some of the reviews on this car park about vandalism to cars was a bit apprehensive about using it. Nothing to worry about in the end. Good free parking with access to several walking trails, mainly the south downs way. There are no facilities, just a basic car park

No accommodation of campervans. Low bar entry. Not disabilities froendly. Try the pond in Burriton village for alternative parking and walking access up a long hill to Southdowns Way.

I was initially put off parking here with all the negative reviews about people having their cars windows smashed etc, but I took a chance and decided to park here anyway. My car wasn't damaged at all but i still didn't leave anything on view. Sunday afternoon the car park was busy with dog walkers, hikers and cyclists but there were still a few spaces in the car park. Great, free medium sized car park at the back of QE Country Park. It has a low height barrier and is at a bit of an awkward position. lovely walks and views.I Will park here again in the future.
