They are scammers in this market. I'm convinced their scales are faulty. I bought a whole pumpkin (which was quite small) when it was weighed I was charged £6.25, when I went to Ridley Road Market in Dalston it was only £4.20 for the exact same thing! I have no idea where they are getting their prices from, the only reason why I paid was because the guy had already cut it in half and there was a long queue behind me. If you want any good price for fruit and veg in my personal opinion I would go elsewhere.
