(Translated by Google) We booked a room on booking in December 2018 for two days from May 21, 2019 to May 23. We landed at the nearest airport London stanted and had a driver take us to the hotel. What a pleasant surprise to find that the hotel was deserted. We found ourselves in the middle of not much without a hotel with a driver that you pay 60 euros for a 10-minute drive that leaves us in the lurch. Fortunately we met a nice gentleman explaining to us that the hotel has been closed since March so he took us to another hotel where we had to pay 100 euros more. It is unacceptable that we were not aware that booking did not warn us, on the contrary they sent us the confirmation of the reservation the same morning. It's a shame I'm stunned that this could have happened. Do not book this hotel it is non-existent at least closed. I really don't trust booking anymore.

(Translated by Google) Very nice setting with cozy rooms. Too bad we couldn't have dinner because of a stove problem. Simple but good breakfast. We took the English with an additional cost: egg bacon and fresh vegetables.

Lovely place to stay. If your after all mod cons then it's not the place for you. Being a listed building there's not mu h thay can change in the rooms. Lovely historic building that has beautiful views and any renovations have been very sympathetically done. The managers were both very friendly and accommodating as well.
