Fantastic friendly staff. Rented from them for 2 and a half years and everything has been hassle free. They were flexible when arranging the tenancy during covid, have always been quick to resolve any issues in the flat and have been very helpful at the end of the tenancy and returning my full deposit.

I have rented from Haller Evans twice now and I would recommend them to anyone. Their business is run with a high standard of professionalism but at the same time the staff are extremely friendly and you always feel that they have genuine concern for you as a tenant. They are forthcoming with any issues or repairs and they take the stress out of renting. You know that whatever happens, they will take care of you. I feel very secure as a Haller Evans tenant. Thank you Megan and Liz

"My brother and I engaged this no star bunch of crooks to clear out our late mother's flat. On the basis of time taken for clearance; and weight of items (to be) removed. For auction sale. Hence no rubbish for tip disposal. Six of the clearance items all of good saleable condition were misappropriated. and not present at the auction. When questioned HE duplicitously referred to verbal statements made, regarding disposal of sub-standard items. However auctioned e.g. hall umbrella stand and other low value items of ours. Their 16 July 2021 auction had endless boxes of miscellaneous low grade bric a brac; some of which was in the category of of 'tat'. We witnessed. The auctioneer neglected to duly pre advertise a 1930s oak book case bureau; which consequently received no bids... But was saved from disposal (allegedly) and made available for our collection - not re-auctioned... Haller Evans mixed some of our bric a brac items in with other, miscellaneous lots. To our obvious financial detriment. They sold a crystal lustre vase for £25. But accepted return unwanted by the winning bidder. Try doing that on Ebay... When questioned the auctioneer (Richard Lancaster) stated that HE had decided to withdraw it as he considered it should have sold for more. But dictated we collect this, and the oak bookcase bureau and remove from their premises. The auctioneer sold some items for paltry bid sums; but did not similarly withdraw them, as worth; more according to the same criteria of judgement. E.G. Zannusi washer / dryer for £5. 2008, 32" LED TV for £5. Umbrella stand for £2. In spite of written representations to HE we have neither been paid for the stolen items; nor had them returned to us. We have been fed false witness as to fact and truth. Otherwise recieved no response to specific points of query. The evidence is that Haller Evans deliberately misappropriated the said missing items, in order to unethically profit from their resale, at our expense. Claiming that these were of too low value to be salable; and had been disposed of. The auctioneer backed up by the proprietor, claimed by way of obfuscation, and equivocation that he had acted entirely properly, and professionally throughout. But, was proven to (have been) an accessory before, and after the fact... However, managed to lose the plot during the auction sale, in regards to losing continuity of lot numbers. With one lot number confused with another. Somewhat farcically. It was witnessed. This crookedness, and criminality took place under the control of proprietor Elizabeth Haller. Matter was referred to 'FRICS'. But who acted apparently corruptly, and complicitiously; in neglecting to take appropriate enforcement disciplinary action - disclaiming responsibilty for taking appropriate action against it's member company. On grounds of matter involving auction clearance aspect of company operation. Caveat Emptor, this could happen to you, if you enter into dealings with Haller Evans..." Either as house clearance auctioneers; surveyors; or as valuers, or, estate agents.

Had a very overfilled house to clear two weeks ago. To us, it looked a nightmare with cupboards and wardrobes filled to the doors with possessions and furniture almost out the doors. Richard and his team did an absolute miracle in clearing the place including the outhouses. They truly deserve all five stars.
