What a rare privilege to be able to give a Conveyancing Solicitor 5 stars! As a first-time buyer, I was quite anxious and apprehensive about the whole moving process because I've heard many horror stories, especially around Solicitors. So I feel really fortunate to have had Victoria Black from Hallam Solicitors who made the process painless. She was communicative throughout... often answering emails faster than me! I was advised in a clear manner and advocated for when needed. The overall cost was also very reasonable. More affordable than a lot of my peers who haven't had the same level of service. I will be recommending Hallam to any friends or family who need similar services in future, as they were to me and to the person who recommended them to me! Tip - if you're London-based, like me, please consider a Solicitor outside of London. It works so well.

If you're buying or selling a house, you NEED to get the best legal representation possible. Do not cheap out on the biggest purchase of your life! After doing my research, including on the importance of choosing a local conveyancer, I went to Hallam Solicitors to sell my old home and buy a new home. Thankfully, I've been absolutely blown away by Hallam Solicitors. My conveyancing solicitor, Victoria Black, often answered emails within 1 minute - and was only ever a quick phone call away. The conveyancing fees were also reasonable, with a minimum of extra costs that tend to creep in if you hire a conveyancing factory as many people do. Naturally, , due to others in the chain not having competent representation, the conveyancing process was absolutely torturous. But having Victoria's counsel and advice – and knowing someone competent was fighting my corner - was invaluable. I highly recommend Hallam Solicitors if you live in Leeds or the surrounding areas and you're looking to buy or sell a house.
