In a really scenic location. The food here is amazing and the rooms are well kept with spacious bathrooms and showers. Their food is very good and well presented. Rooms: Rooms are quite hot. But you can get a fan if need be.

We booked for one night as we were going to a gig at The Greystone. Set in a leafy residential suburb of Sheffield within the halls of residence. Beautiful green surroundings off the main road. Reception staff were helpful and welcoming. Our room was quite small but adequate for 1 night and exceptionaly clean.The bathroom was huge with a large shower.There are also bath robes. Netspresso machine in each room. Room well stocked with coffee pods and Borders biscuits. On each floor there is a top up dresser filled with coffee pods, biscuits, and a small fridge stocked with milk, water and Tunnocks teacakes! On return from our night out we ventured into the bar where we were served by Cameron who was a lovely, friendly lad. Breakfast. Oh, what can I say about breakfast? Perfect in every way. Smiley, polite staff. Great menu choice, the eggs benedict is to die for. Small but perfect choice of continental, fruit pot is delicious. All in all, if you're planning a trip to Sheffield, book Halifax Hall. It makes sense.
