FAQ

What types of apples do you use for your cider?

We use a blend of traditional cider apple varieties such as Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, and Kingston Black to create our delicious cider.

Are your apple orchards sustainably managed?

Yes, we are committed to sustainable farming practices in our apple orchards. We use natural pest control methods and minimize the use of chemicals to ensure the health of our orchards and the surrounding environment.

How is your cider produced?

Our cider is produced using traditional methods of pressing and fermenting apples. We carefully select and blend our apples, press them to extract the juice, and then ferment the juice using natural yeast. The cider is then aged and matured in oak barrels to develop its complex flavor.

Are your ciders pasteurized?

No, we do not pasteurize our ciders. We believe that pasteurization can affect the flavor and character of the cider, so we prefer to use natural methods to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

Can visitors see the cider-making process at your mill?

Yes, visitors are welcome to tour our cidery and see the cider-making process in action. We offer guided tours and tastings, where visitors can learn about our methods and taste our delicious ciders.

We enjoyed our visit, the Patron is extremely knowledgeable about ciders and has a fantastic enthusiasm for turning apples into a wonderful drink. The ciders are full flavoured, we enjoyed the Florin that had the smell and flavours of a tarte tatin, we would be happy to have this delicious drink as a toast for any occasion. As it was we sat in the garden on a warm summers evening and enjoyed a lovely glass of chilled Florin. We bought a few other varieties for tasting in the evenings. Many thanks

This is possibly the best cider place in the area wonderful friendly knowledgeable g and the strawberry cider is literally like pop till you try to get up and walk after a couple lol. Lovely little on site marquee on site where you can enjoy but I generally driving so grab a few bottles to take home. Easy to find directly opposite halfpenny green antiques centre. Not to be confused with halfpenny green vineyards which is also very nice for the more upmarket people which I definitely ain't give it a try you won't be disappointed.
