Terrible service from Halfords Mobile. I always try not to jump into giving bad reviews and I rarely do but if I don't warn people about the experience that would be bad on my part. If you are thinking of fitting dash cameras to your, PLEASE stay clear off HALFORDS. I ordered a Nextbase 622gw dashcam from Halfords to fit into my Range Rover Velar, despite stating the model of the car whilst ordering, on the day of the installation, the engineer said they couldn't fit the rear camera to my car. He suggested that I should order Blackvue dash cameras which I did. A day before the installation I was reminded of my appointment, even on the morning of the appointment, I got a text message telling the time the engineer would arrive. To my utmost surprise, just about an hour after the text reminder, the engineer called to say that the BlackVue 900X is not in stock. He said the customer service team just assume that they are in stock. How on earth can you run a company like this? Why didn't you specify on the website that it is out of stock? Why can't your customer service communicate with the mobile team? This is beyond absurd in 2023. You wasted my time and effort.

Shocking service - couldn't give a definitive time or move me to a better time for free. They claimed to have a technician ready by 6pm when they said one would arrive..in a world where we have greater visibility of deliveries and services to our doorstep this company is in the stone ages. They need to have a greater understanding of customer lead times and better methods of comms with the customer - there was no e-mail confirmation or nothing to help me track the technicians jobs or whereabouts. their rates and extras (disposal of tyre service) was a pull but no idea on the technicians whereabouts and the technicians working till 8pm is crazy.
