Horrendous… after several things went wrong with my car after breaking down in the middle of the night on the motorway, it was recovered to here as they advised they had more staff than one nearer to me. Man on front desk did not appear trained in booking in or have great customer service skills..Car was in three days before anyone could look at it (it was over Easter however I presumed more staff meant more people available) The mechanics advised they could fit two new parts and prompted me to pay over the website link. Paid and had a phone call ten minutes later to actually inform it was not just the two parts they originally thought, but the entire head gasket. They then said the car had to be off the premises within the next day, to which I had to pay additional recovery fees for. Took ten days to get the money back from this business and countless phone calls on my part chasing up as email response was very slow. Missed two milestone family birthdays due to being home in Manchester sorting this all out and not being able to travel to where I was meant to be that weekend. I would never take any vehicle to a Halfords in future and I would question if the staff that work there are even completely qualified for the roles.
