5/5 Great staff. Excellent people skills accommodating and knowledgeable! However BOTH my wiper blades came flying off the car after driving it this evening. It was only serviced 8 days ago. I would like Halfords to fix this for me as they fitted the new wipers. I am still awarding 5/5 because Halfords were likely rushing the job as I requested the vehicle back early. Mistakes happen. Sorry but my experience with this garage has been less than satisfactory. Had a major service booked with them yesterday, when dropping off the keys I have clearly mentioned that the coolant needs topping up, that didn’t get done. When I got home and saw the coolant levels well below the minimum levels, called asking what happened they said it didn’t need topping up which clearly means no one even bothered to check. Makes you ask what other things they miss checking. After driving less than 10 miles, I got the message on the dashboard saying my adblue is running low, one would expect and adblue refill during a major service but even if not refilling I would’ve expected at least to get notified of the low levels. And finally, the screen wash tank cap was improperly fitted and water was splashed all over under the bonnet. Overall, disappointed. Service: Oil change

They will look to fail your MOT for silly reasons. Failed it for number plate spacing. Would not let us come back to show the number plates with out rebooking a week later. Terrible experience

Redeemed my free MOT as a Halfords premier member. Booked in for an oil change as well. Turned up with vehicle friendly welcome from the staff. The first thing they did was MOT the car around two hours of dropping it off. Which I then got a notification from an app. I have. to tell me if my car has failed and MOT. I called, and they told me the car had failed on the missions. So I asked, did you have the car hot before you tested it? The answer was yes, and they can put something called. Cataclean Through the engine so it would pass this will be in £40. You don’t get anything for free right? I said why don’t you change the oil first and I’m sure this will help, because I definitely do not want anything being put through the engine. A phone call at the end of the day to say everything was okay it’s past . Amazing. . . Service: Oil change
