Dealt with Simon at the Redditch store to help me with buying a bike to begin training ahead of a cycle trek. I’m a complete novice and Simon was excellent. Patience, solid advice, some realism and a warning as to how a normal body may look in cycle clothes 😂. Great stuff. Edit - after a week I took the bike back for a few tweaks. Simon again sorted everything out with no fuss, a bit more advice and away I went. Wonderful again.

Bought a Carrera bike and some accessories about 3 weeks ago. 1st time on bike because of injury. Found the hand over and all aspects of the in store team to be excellent. Bought the pump that was recommended on hand over today. Will definitely be back to buy more stuff. Bike is great

Was after a carburettor air filter cleaner kit advertised on halfords website. Tried to check stock before going but unable to due to very poor website. Apparently you have to enter your registration number to check availability of items. Fine except that halfords system won't recognise my registration number. Phoned customer services to check stock. Customer services then spent 10 minutes try to contact my local store but no one was answering the phone. She was very sorry she could not help but said the store was very busy. Travelled to the store anyway only to find myself and one other customer there. Really busy !!! Very poor website and service all round. Shame as used to be a good store.
