Friendly assistant on the tills however I paid for 2 bulbs fitting to find when I got home that only 1 had been fitted and the other bulb was left in the package in my car boot !!

Appalling service. I am pretty certain I woke the staff member from sleeping on his feet. All I wanted was window screen wipers however this proved a difficult issue. I asked for Bosch and was told they were not in stock for my vehicle. I then asked what brand the Halfords were. He didn't know. I then asked if there was any warranty on the Halfords own brand but was told there wasn't any warranty. At this point I gave up and left. Why do these companies constantly blame online shopping for the demise of the high street when the lack of staff training makes people walk out of the store?

Cannot fault this place. If Pete (the manager) can’t make you feel at ease I don’t know who can. My husband had a bad experience with Halfords years ago in York. But even his resentment cannot stop me going here for my car fixes/checks. They’ve never been anything but helpful, understanding and honest with me. More than 5* service

Looks can be deceiving! You pay £2000 and you still have problems with the car, the solution is to go to the dealership! Not for amateurs!! After three weeks, the car is more damaged than when we got it!! Just because you choose a payment plan, it's not worth the risk of leaving the car in their hands!

Bike wasn't built/ready for collection 1 hour after agreed time so I had to come back. As I set off home the front wheel span 90 degrees as the stem had not been tightened at all. I had brought my own tool kit so fixed it myself. That could have caused a nasty accident.
