Don’t know why they needed the bike for a full week to set it up. Lower limit on gears was not set correctly at all and the indexing was nearly half a gear out. And before they use the usual claim of cables going slack it was all too tight and required the cables loosening. Other than slap pedals and reflectors on it I’m really not sure what they did. If you don’t know how to set up your own bike then you’ll have to take it to a proper bike shop after you’ve bought it from Halfords.
