Disappointed on how unenthusiastic the staff were. It was my kids first big bike experience (which I said when we arrived) and the staff were so flat, not bothered, not helpful and quite clearly didn’t want to be working today. When we entered we were the only ones in the bike area, there were 4 members of staff, no one said hi to us for a good 5mins as they were doing paperwork. It took ages to find out orders, we spent £250, the. As I had done something in error ( didn’t pay for building one of the bikes) I then had to push to get it built. We were so excited about going to halfords and getting the kids into cycling but the experience didn’t meet up to what we thought. Won’t be going to halfords again.

Needed a new sump nut washer as I was planning to change my oil. Was told 'We no longer stock them, try the motor factors". So, you sell oil & oil filters, but not oil sump washers which is a crucial part which you need each time you change your oil. IDIOTS!!!

I went in to get a product for my faded black rubber trim/ seal around the windows to restore it's colour. Was recommended a couple products, advised one left a greasy finish, so went for the other, an excellent Auto Glym product, I'm still surprised how well it's worked! Very satisfied and appreciate the staff knowledge/ assistance. Will be back soon. Thanks. : )
