Car-parking scam. Some of the bays have minor signs warning of £100 fine. Response to this review will say contact us. Contact Halfords to find out that they can not do anything about the fine. Given prior reviews, this appears to be an intentional effort to scam customers.

I went to this store as i assumed I would be given advice with my daughters bike and helmet purchase as they claim to offer expert help and great deals. I also hoped we would be walking out with it on the same day, I accepted the fact that they did not have her choice in store so ordered it for collection. I rang customer services a few days later as hadn't received any updates and after being placed on hold was told a Steve in Purley way store had said the bike was ready to collect however this was not true. As I went to the same store just to be told it was not available/ready. I even paid extra for them to build it, I wish I did not now. The whole experience was unpleasant.

Avoid this store like the plague, apparently halfords does not own all of the car parking spaces. I ended up with a £100 parking charge notice. No clear signage of this, not a happy customer 😒
