I have been a member of Halesowen for just over 12 months and thoroughly enjoy the challenge the course offers. Not many flat lies for approach shots, greens well protected, and tee shots on most holes that need plotting carefully to avoid the many trees that line the fairways makes for a very entertaining 18 holes. Greens are awesome and roll beautifully. Every par 3 is a good test which is why I would also say don't be fooled by the short yardage....it can really bite when least expected. The condition of the course all year round is excellent and the green keepers need to be congratulated on a job well done, especially this year despite facing some incredibly bad weather, the course is perfectly presented. Off the course the welcome in the pro shop and bar is always top notch with friendly and helpful staff. Food is excellent too. Membership is excellent value and green fees for visitors are worth every penny! Pay it a visit, you wont be disappointed.

I've been playing golf here since I was a kid and I've been a member here on and off over the years and I never get bored of playing a round of golf here, membership is great value for money and the course is very tough to play as it is very hilly and narrow and there is alot of things to catch you out, don't be fooled by the short distance of some holes as this is a very challenging course, the course is very well maintained and is surrounded by beautiful trees and parkland, if you fancy a challenge and a good day out give Halesowen golf course a go as you won't be disappointed.
