    I telephoned HAG just before lunch time in a mad panic, we had a disaster in our workshop and we had totally jammed one of the workshop doors. They are based in Bristol and we are in West Wales. I had failed to find anyone local so was expecting the worse. They sent two engineers out to us who were there within two hours, they worked swiftly and professionally and within 70 minutes of arrival we had a functioning door again. Two engineers travelled 91 miles to get to us, spent over an hour repairing the doors and travelled the 91 miles back. It was an emergency call out and all we were charged was £245 plus VAT. I think that is exceptional value and service.

    We used to be very pleased with this company, used them for many years after a local recommendation. The commercial side of the business seems to have lost integrity. If you can deal with this, perhaps the doors are still ok? 14/8/22- I see HAG have edited their initial response and are desperately trying to distance themselves from this one, so let's go into more detail... I am the employed person who instigated and put forward a quote, made out to my employer by HAG, to our landlord. HAG were an existing supplier of ours on that site and had been servicing the roller shutter doors for several years prior. It was because of this existing relationship that they were subsequently asked to quote by us to replace some of the same doors. Because HAG had been servicing/signing the existing doors off as being fit for purpose for several years prior to their quote, you might think HAG would appreciate a customer putting some business their way, but this is what they then did... Jason Coombs ( Commercial Sales Manager) of HAG approached our landlord stating that his initial quote to us was woefully inadequate and that upon visiting site again found many new reasons why the quote needed to be increased in value- reasons which were all because of us and were all stated only to our landlord. What was truly amazing was that one existing door was even condemned yet this was never mentioned to us before when HAG were working directly for us on the very same door. Unfortunately for HAG our landlord then approached us with this new quote and all the 'reasons'. Being so openly undermined by HAG we naturally rebutted the exagerated and unjustified uplift in costs. The MD of HAG Ltd Paul Dunne was approached by email but never responded. The new doors were not installed. HAG doors let us down. The commercial side of the business seems to have lost integrity.

    Reckless drivers. Cut me up on the motorway without indicating and then did the same to a lorry. Turns out the driver was holding his phone in his hand. Was driving a high roof transit at 2:40 between Chippenham and Bristol on the motorway.

    They offer a emergency call out service for £150+Vat. Came out to my site to say I can't look at the shutters as there's no parking and I need another person with me. Said they can come back 2 days later when I said to them I need my shutters down for security!! Basically scammed me for my money as DB shutters came down the same evening and within 40 minutes fixed the situation. LAZY HAG WORK DIDN'T WANNA GET A LADDER AND HAVE A LOOK. They didn't even want to refund the money. If you're looking for someone reasonable priced, great work use DB shutters I've used them a few times he's a local guy. These big companies just rip you off!!!
