    A very expensive and very low quality end of tenancy clean - the team are lovely and very helpful and they did return to the property when I complained about the quality of the clean, but I would never recommend this company for the actual end of tenancy clean. I lost deposit because simple areas were missed (e.g., kitchen and bathroom floor not hoovered or mopped, kitchen cupboards not cleaned, interior doors not cleaned, many places left dusty, behind sofa and bed not cleaned, windows left dirty etc - the list went on) and they charge extra for windows which has always been included in previous end of tenancy cleans (they also charge extra for upholstery, blinds and curtains and carpets, so it ends up being close to £500 with VAT (which by the way, is added onto the final bill) if you need it all done, which for most end of tenancy checks, you do. I would honestly do it myself next time, it would have saved me a LOT of money and hassle, even if I'd still lost deposit. Such a shame as the office team really were lovely to deal with.     I unfortunately used Hadley St James as my cleaning company when moving out of a flat. I thought everything would go well as they had someone attend for a quote and to see the property. I made it clear that the flat was furnished and that anything left in the flat was the property of the land lord. I luckily came back to the flat prior to handing in my keys for the inventory and noticed that several items were missing. They had thrown out brabantia bathroom bins and toilet scrubbers (about £100 worth), kitchen materials including le creuset oven mitts, and also all of the locking mechanisms on the windows. I was luckily able to retrieve some of these items via "dumpster diving" in my own outside bins (which were also left a mess) but am now getting claims from my security deposit that are due to the unprofessionalism of HSJ. I am not one to usually complain or write reviews but this experience really irked me and hopefully this will either get their attention or warn future potential customers to stay away. We asked for an end of tenancy cleaning service and we agreed for a price and they charge us for the complete service that was three times more over the price we agreed and they didn´t helped us at all and of course they didn´t refund us the money the have stolen us. We didn´t asked for a window cleaning service and we didn´t have carpets in our apartment but they charged us with this service aswell. Also they didn´t give you a bill or a written document when you book the cleaning service so there is no proof after. And they also damaged our counter top and they didn´t discount any money. This was the process: we sent them an email asking for fees for an end of tenancy cleaning. They answered with their standard rates, and told us that there would be an inspection to determine what works would need to be done. But this inspection never happened. Then they send us an email telling us that as we didn´t specified anything, they charge us for the whole package, they don´t even make sure if we have carpets or not, or if we want the windows clean or not. Can they assure us that they cleaned the windows? I know they can´t do that for the carpet, because there is no carpet in our flat. Maybe it would have been great if they had asked us before charging us the whole service. My advice is PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THEM!! Services: Deep clean, Cleaning
