  5 stars just doesn’t seem like enough… and no amount of thanks could express to Jo and Carl how amazing they are. From the first moment we met them, until the day of my mum’s funeral, Jo and Carl went above and beyond, in everything they did! They helped us at every step of the way, were on the end of the phone or email and helped to make the day, a beautiful celebration of my mums life. They were on hand with recommendations and reassurance and we felt in safe hands throughout the whole process. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Jo put together the most beautiful order of service and having Carl there on the day was such a comfort. Choosing a funeral director is never something I ever gave any thought, but I’m so glad we chose Hadaway and Denton.

  I can't rate Carl and Jo highly enough. From my initial phone call following the sudden death of my brother they were consistently on hand to help and offer guidance. Arrangements had to be made via phone calls, email and zoom because of the distance involved, but everything was taken care of as I would have wished and the crematorium service was exemplary. They're extremely professional but with a really personal approach that is caring and reassuring at all times. Thoroughly recommended.

  Jo, Carl and the team were professional, caring, symphathetic and went out of their way to make a very sad event manageable, they are a family run hands on business and we very much felt part of that family throughout the process. They looked after both my parents on their passing and trusted them to provide the dignity and care that any family wants for their loved ones. Thank you all very much.

  I cannot recommend Hadaway and Denton enough. From the minute I spoke to Carl, I knew we and my late uncle Bill, were in safe hands. Both Carl and Jo are so kind, caring and helpful, making the whole process so much easier than it could have been. They were there at every turn and I, along with Bills family, thank them very much.

  From first phone call to last , contact in crematorium, its been 100 % professional service dealt with jo & Carl who catered for our every need , in our darkest hour, there florists Caroline also delivered the flowers to an amazing level, thank you guys & girls so much. Bira singh.

  Carl & Jo were the perfect choice when arranging the funeral for our son’s untimely passing, and the 2nd family funeral we have chosen them to do. They are so caring and compassionate, and make you feel so at ease, like you have always known them. All of our wishes for the day were fulfilled, they also gave us ideas we wouldn’t have thought of, they really do go the extra mile. The Celabrant Roger was a very good choice, very witty & gave us so much time to get the eulogy just right, and being able to carry a crowd. Our son really did have a send off we we’re proud of and he would have loved. We would whole heartedly recommend their services 100%. Mr & Mrs Pimm

  How do you find a funeral company? Not something that I thought about before we lost my dear dad in June. I didn't know where to start, so Google pointed me in the best possible direction to these wonderful people. From our very first phone call, Jo and Carl were warm, understanding, patient and kind. My mum and I were struggling with decisions, and preparations, but Jo led us through absolutely everything from crematorium choices, all the way through to scatter tubes. We were treated like family and my 'Dad's colourful life' was included in every part of the discussions and planning. Carl took such care and attention with Dad, that our visit to the chapel of rest gave us such comfort. The day was a celebration of a wonderful man, and we didn't have to worry about anything except turning up and holding it together. It was a day that I will always remember, and its with thanks to Jo and Carl. They will always hold a dear space in our hearts, and we can't recommend them enough.
