    Hackney Weightlifting Club is a brilliant place if you're a beginner and would like to try olympic weightlifting or are an experienced weightlifter looking for a club to join. The club feels like a family, people are super friendly and all coaches are just brilliant, with years of experience able to support you at any stage of your weightlifting journey!

    I've been coming to Hackney Weightlifting club for the past month and have bwwn enjoying. Daphne is the weightlifting coach over there and she's brilliant. She's knowledegable and well-versed in everything technical about weightlifting and creates a friendy and easy-going atmosphere for everyone. All the members are welcoming and play their part in creating that friendly and easy-going atmosphere. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get into weightlifting to come here.

    I started coming here for the women's intro class about a year ago to learn how to lift properly and get the confidence to do my own in the gym. From the first day I felt so at ease with Daphne, who creates such a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that any novice should feel comfortable starting out here. Daphne is a very supportive trainer, she has been fantastic at helping me get back into things recently after having surgery. You'll find all abilities, all the gear, small class sizes, no egos or pretences... and a bit of classic FM on in the background!! I cannot recommend it enough!
