I am reviewing this space as a hired kids entertainer, NOT the person that booked it - I have no idea about staff/prices etc. What I can tell you is that I've attended a LOT of parties in different halls and this place rocked! The main room is big, light, spacious... best bit is that it has a professional lighting rig and fantastic sound system you can just plug your phone into (it's clearly a studio theatre) available for use, so the atmosphere was amazing and the music sounded better than any other party I've attended as an entertainer. It even has a disco ball! There was a rug to cover the floor and there were huge bean bags to sit on too. The space outside, by the entrance, is smaller, but still ample room for a food table and room to stand and talk. Toilets are clean and have ethical loo roll 😉😆 The decor is clean and fresh. It's right by Clissold Park, so not massively close to any particular station (about 15 mins walk from Canonbury Overground, for example), but it's very close to bus stops, so not terrible to get to by public transport. (Note for context: the football in the 2nd pic is large beach ball sized!)

Really friendly staff, and conveniently located just off Clissold Park, not to be confused with The other Hackney Showroom venue in Hackney Downs. The rehearsal rooms are fresh looking and clean, plus has got these lovely bean bags. It's like being in a day care nursery, but adults occupy it 🤣🤣🤣
