Horrible man running the pottery dropping sessions in Hackney City Farm Yard on Wednesday and Thursday. He has no interest in teaching or guiding people on how to do anything with clay. I went with my friend expecting a calm environment and to enjoy and learn how to do pottery. He just provides people with clay to create some pieces within 3 hours that he will then fire that you can glaze the second time you do a drop in. Only to find that the pieces I had created were either broken or missing when I went back. Unapologetically, he spoke to me in a very aggressive (almost yelling) and rude tone full of irony and said he doesn’t hold any accountability for broken and missing pieces and if they were broken is because it was my fault. At that point I decided to leave and take the few remaining pieces I had create to glaze them elsewhere. No one deserves that attitude and he doesn’t not deserve any payment. One thing is for sure you will not be catching me there again.
