18 month old house. Riddled in damp, mould and wet room installed incorrectly. Used plasterboard round the shower area that has now been soaking up water and spread throughout the house causing mould and tiles to fall off. Need a wetroom shower as daughter is disbaled phoned to get it repaired was told its not a emergency and was hung up on. .... apparently a shower isn't a requirement within habinteg .

Honestly, to get a repair completed sufficiently and within the timescale set out in the policy is a complete let down! I am constantly chasing for a response, acknowledgement of emails, feedback or updates, it's soul destroying. Also Habinteg doesn't have any penalties in place for service failure so it just keeps continuing. I've had multiple missed appointments or none at all and never an apology or compensated for the inconvenience. Its always the contractor said they did and never can provide the picture proof. In all my years a a tenant I have not had any home improvement carried out on this property, neither had the previous tenant. No kitchen/bathroom, nothing. We need transparency and better communication cause email systems not working!

Really disappointed with these people. Slow to act everything is to much effort and most of all my home and estate is in disrepair my home is not insulated windows rattle and the rent is to high. For what I pay habingteg I could have a 2 bed with garden in Barnsley not just the 1 bed no garden no light flat I have. The location is also isolated not an ideal place the top of a hill to make a disabled housing estate. I pay a service charge for zero services it's profit from poverty scam. They advertise they want you to be on high pip payments to stay on their scheme. I was desperate for a home, I felt like that was used against me and I was given a below standard shell of a home and told to put up shut up or else.

I was told to go for a viewing by these people for a flat last year. After I viewed the flat and was told that I would have priority they decided to make an excuse and say that I couldn't have the flat because of the stairs. This organisation should be investigated as I am sure they are picking and choosing when they claim to allocate accomodation and giving it to their own people. They offered me a viewing but didn't give me any opportunity to take the flat.
