It's all about the location. Fabulous!! The service and food were excellent, but it really is the location that sells this place. The room was ok but sadly let down by lots of little things that need sorting out. Our view was a weed filled slabbed area that obviously hasn't seen a member of staff for a very long time. There were two light bulbs not working. The bedroom and bathroom are separated by a curtain!! The top of the cold tap is just one twist away from coming off. The t.v. remote has lots of buttons, most of which don't work or are that worn, you can't read what they're for. But the most annoying thing by far was the card entry system, which failed to work on four occasions over a two night stay. If the above had been sorted, it would have been five stars all the way. Shame really!

We got married here on 7th May 2023. Waterton Park Hotel is like a little hidden gem. The main hotel Walton Hall is set on an island, but we had our wedding in waterton park Hotel as it had a lift and was easier for my guests to move around. The whole experience was amazing. Amy our wedding planner was amazing on the day, but she couldn't of done it without the help of her team, and they were a well oiled machine. They had thought of everything even things we hadn't. Staff would track us down in different parts of the hotel if they had questions. Although we were in the newer building we had full access to the old building which had a restaurant, bar, gym and pool. Just a shame we didn't have time to visit the pool, but we will be back on our anniversary to have a better look round and use all the facility. It didn't matter how many times I phoned all the staff were polite, helpful and happy to help any way they could. I would highly recommend Waterton Park Hotel for a wedding as it's like a fairytale setting no matter what the weather is like. Thank you all so much Suzanne and Rowena
