This is one of the greatest hotels in London if not the best it is a five star hotel for a reason and obviously it’s going to come up with the best restaurant. I went here a few months ago and it was a lifetime experience . The food was impeccable. It is a gastronomic restaurant and will be expensive as it has three stars and they have great quality products and very fine cooking. People should not be shocked and complain about the prices as this is what you would pay for with no shock when you get this type of food. If you don’t want to spend this much and not have this experience just don’t go there. This is the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at.

Great service and environment. Food was pretty good but not worth the money, in our opinion. Menu was confusing. We got charged twice what we thought we would be charged due to the "extra supplements" that we thought were included. Overall due to the confusion we ended up being stuffed to the brim. They were great in giving us extra surprise dishes but this made us feel even more stuffed and unable to appreciate the food as much. Our suggestions- ask I'm order to clarify, like most restaurants do, and slim down the amount and portions given. Less is more. We would've enjoyed it more if we had 1/2 of the portion. Would've enjoyed it more if we paid 1/2 of our bill too. Overall the service was still very good. Almost too many people catering to each table. I was even escorted to the bathroom. If you have a hefty appetite and have a lot of money to spend, I'd suggest dining here. Otherwise I'd suggest saving your money and your stomach.

First let me start saying that food was amazing and the service too, but when you factor in that this is a 3 start Michelin, and also an expensive one, (even for a Michelin restaurant), then I would have several complaints. - I was seated in a very uncomfortable chair, well, it was a bench, which was fixed to the wall, and the table was quite far from me, first time I do not have a proper chair in a Michelin Restaurant - It was too cold for us, maybe this was a choice for them as we could notice everyone was wearing a jacket, so we were not sure if they had a chilly atmosphere so you could wear them comfortably, first time in a Michelin where I had to have dinner with my jacket on. - The decoration of the restaurant was appalling, if you go to any other Michelin restaurants, the lighting, the decoration, everything is beautiful to look at, here is surpassingly dull, first time also with no tablecloth - The bread and butter factor. This might sound silly, but one of the most anticipated things for visiting a Michelin restaurant for us is, What bread are going to be offered? what sort of butter are we going to have? Well, lower your expectations here, the bread was quite disappointing, as so it was the butter, and you will not get a choice of different breads! First ever Michelin with only a type of bread - SUPER EXPENSIVE. I cannot stress this enough, have had many Michelin restaurants in London, this is by far the most expensive one and it seems to be for no reason, it seems to cater for the sort of people that would just love to say that they had Kristal Caviar or Waygu beef as ultimately the food is uninspired... (More on this later), first time on a Michelin restaurant where we felt like they were upselling produce. - The worst thing of all... Uninspired food, we try to treat us once a year with a Michelin restaurant, for us, is a big deal... So, when you have the chance to escape, plan for weeks etc.. And then, you have the best produce, cooked to perfection, well, that turns out to be... just fine.... There is no wow factor... First time in a Michelin restaurant where my and my partner did not talk about the food we were eating, we were just looking at each other saying, yeah.. that is indeed an amazing scallop/steak/dove.... Ultimately, if you are able to afford this sort of establishment as your place to go once a month or so, this might be the right choice for you, as you are guaranteed to get amazing produce and cooking, but if like us, a Michelin restaurant is a one off, my recommendation would be to go somewhere else, for instance, last year we went to Alain Ducasse at the dorchester, and the experience was much better.
