My fence blew down in the recent winds. Horace came at 6 O’clock in the evening to inspect the damage, the very next morning at 9 O’clock he phoned me at work to say it was all done. Had our fencing and two trees cut down by H Jones Landscaping yesterday / today. Great job done quickly to a very high standard. Team of lads were lovely and a pleasure to have at our house. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Will be having them back to do more work.

Quoted me £15 per 6' panel to replace fence capping (the strip that runs on the top) and said they cost them £11 per piece, a quick check reveals they cost £1.50 + VAT each from a local supplier. They also quoted £100 each to replace a 3' fence post (materials about £5/post). If they didn't want to do the work then why not say instead of submitting an outrageous quote. I feel strongly about this behaviour, I ask myself what if I was a vulnerable pensioner and I had accepted a quote like this!
