After paying How Planning upfront, it then took me six weeks of phoning their office for somebody to call me in regard to my project. I was eventually called back after phoning the office to say that I was on my way to Manchester to get my money back. It was only then that I was contacted by one of their 'Senior planners' James Berggren who assured me that he was ready to work on my planning application. From lodging my up front payment on the 17th of July. It took until the 1st of September for Mr Berggren to produce a 4 page pre planning application two of which were photographs and one page was my mission statement, of which he had elaborated on with incorrect details, such as saying the site was in Widnes, when it was Lostock Gralam 26 miles away from Widnes. After a period of just over four months of bad service. I decided that I would be better off doing the job myself. Which I am now doing. I asked for a full refund, but was told by the Senior Partner that they would be keeping £940 to cover their costs. Seemingly uninterested in the fact that they have a very dissatisfied customer. In conclusion if you want an extremely poor and unprofessional service, How Planning is the place to go.
