  Please avoid this surgeon. Despite his clam, he is absolutely laking in cosmetic surgery skills. Where to start. He had no perception of human decency, I am suspecting he is getting away with awfully done surgeries for so long now that it's become second nature to him to effectively cover up his mistakes. He will disengaged himself after receiving payment without any offer of restitution other than to pay all over again. Your scars will be large, lumpy and uneven. I had a second opinion post op, who stated that I will need two further extensive operations to correct his surgery. Avoid.

  I had an explant with Dr Sterne. The operation went reasonably well and Dr Sterne was polite, however I have some asymmetry I'd like reviewed and I have found it very difficult to gain a post-operative appointment. Jude, Dr Sterne's assistant, has been extremely rude to me on occasion (aggressive, shouty and wholly inappropriate manner on the phone). I mentioned this to Dr Sterne several months ago and his immediate response was to defend Jude and write off my concerns. I found this upsetting. If a patient is complaining about unprofessional treatment from your assistant, this is something that should be heeded and taken seriously. Jude has falsely claimed that reminders were sent to me about a follow-up appointment when this is simply not the case and is something I previously complained about. I find her dishonest and untrustworthy. Furthermore, she does not offer any assistance and will simply direct you to the hospital if you require anything (where you'll spend upwards of an hour or longer being pinged between switchboards and departments). I'm genuinely not sure what Jude's role is as she certainly isn't polite or helpful to patients. I paid over £10,000 for my surgery with Dr Sterne and the customer service and post op care had been inadequate and not befitting of that price. I'm going to pursue this complaint as I am not happy with how I've been treated. Also leading up to surgery, I often did not receive paperwork or updates and had to chase these repeatedly. It made the already stressful lead up to surgery much more stressful. This was largely down to Jude's disinterested and disorganised attitude which was really unconducive to a smooth or reassuring experience.

  The best surgeon there is! Went for a lot of different consultations, wasn’t happy with any until I met dr sterne, he’s a genuine kind and warm person. Throughout my surgery and after care I have felt fully reassured, never rushed. If I needed to I would 100% do my surgery all over again only with dr sterne, I didn’t feel any pain after my procedure and he made the whole thing a great experience. Thank you so much!

  Brilliant surgeon. Kind caring decent man that only has your best interests at heart. Just had en bloc breast explant with minimum pain and scarring and so pleased with outcome i look beter than before thanks to his great skill. Great hospital team and secretary Jude very helpful. Thanks Mr Sterne for taking care of me and doing fantastic job.

  I had a septorhinoplasty with Mr Guy Sterne at Nuffield Wolverhampton I was abit nervous going in to my initial consultation but Mr Sterne soon put me at ease and answered any questions I had. He was also really good at accommodating when I wanted the procedure done. He was open and honest and explained the risks and possible outcomes of the procedure. I am so happy with the end result and it has given me the confidence to go out feeling confident and not self conscious anymore. The theatre team were brilliant they were great and communicating with me and put me at ease.

  After doing some research I decided to choose Mr Sterne as my surgeon. He was very easy to talk to and listened to everything I had to say, we discussed what my options were, the procedures and the outcome I could expect. I asked if it was possible to have the procedures done in one operation and Mr Sterne agreed to do this. I Decided to have a full face lift and upper and lower eyes, and we agreed to a date for my surgery. I arrived at the Nuffield Hospital Wolverhampton early morning, the staff were lovely and really looked after me. Mr Sterne came to see me and explained again what would be happening and I felt very reassured by him. The theatre staff were brilliant putting me at ease. After a one night stay in hospital I was allowed home. I had several appointments in the outpatients department and the aftercare was excellent. I was so pleased with the results that I have since been back to Mr Sterne and had my upper arms done, I had the fat taken away and the excess skin removed (no more bingo wings). I can't recommend Mr Sterne enough he's a brilliant surgeon and I can't thank him enough for the way I look and more importantly the way I feel about myself, the surgery has made such a difference to my life.

  I underwent a facelift and upper and lower bletheroplasty with Guy D. Sterne MD (Specialist Registered Plastic Surgeon) in October 2018, in Worcester. I was a little nervous about the procedure but was immediately put at my ease during the initial consultation by Mr Sterne's evident knowledge, experience and professionalism. I had an underlying medical issue that I was concerned could be affected by the procedure but Mr Sterne went away and researched any possible repercussions and I was then fully confident to go ahead with the procedures. I received outstanding care during my hospital stay and was always kept informed of what was happening and why. My aftercare was equally as impressive and I was given clear instructions on how to best help to care for my wounds. The final result is wonderful and I feel and look 10 years younger ….so all my friends think. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Sterne and in fact am considering further surgery under his supervision and care.

  The unsightly look of my legs was impacting on my coping with life. I loved swimming but now I was wearing knee length swimwear to cover them up. I didn't want anyone to see them, they were affecting my confidence, it was damaging any thoughts of relationships. I looked on line, there were beauty clinics, body shaping places, really not for me. Then I heard that the West Midland Hospital had Surgeons who performed life changing procedures to correct all kinds of body needs. I made an appointment with Mr Guy Sterne & another Surgeon, considering two consultations would give me a comparison view. The moment I met Mr Sterne I felt confident & relaxed in his presence. He examined me & demonstrated what improvement he felt he could make to the appearance of my legs. He felt he could achieve at least a 60% improvement. He would perform a bi-lateral thigh lift. He explained the pros & cons of the proposed surgery & recovery. I felt totally confident in his professionalism & he instilled trust. No reason to seek a 2nd consultation, I was totally satisfied. I had all the usual health checks beforehand & my surgery took place September 2018. The improvement in the look of my legs far exceeded the estimated 60%. I'm thrilled with the results, can now wear usual type swimwear & have no confidence issues anymore. All thanks to the skill of Mr Guy Sterne & West Midlands Hospital. Their combined support system was with me throughout.

  I actually really enjoyed meeting Guy Sterne, at Worcester South Bank, he is funny, honest about expectations and procedures and really puts you at ease during your consultations. I ended up having a procedure with him and was very happy from start to finish.
