Thoughtful and with empathy! Shane has been teaching our son guitar for a while now - is it 3 or 4 years? - and our son is making great progress. Most importantly, he has always been happy with his guitar teacher. Oh, and Shane has our son playing songs/music that are/is current, relevant and motivating as they - together - are working their way through the grading system. Shane is brilliant and very much recommended!

Shane is an excellent, patient and encouraging teacher who makes lessons fun and engaging. My child has been learning ukulele and now guitar for several years with Shane and really enjoys the lessons. Shane teaches a wide range of musical styles and it is always interesting to hear the latest tune being practiced, there is lots of variety. Shane has been running his lessons via Zoom over lockdown and we have found this to work very well. My child's love of music has developed and they have also grown in confidence as a result. I would totally recommend Shane!

Shane teaches my son guitar. He taught him at Primary School and we continued with lessons when my son left for High School. Originally Shane gave face-to-face lessons but has been giving Skype lessons since the pandemic. He is a wonderful teacher and my son has come on leaps and bounds. I am particularly pleased that my son really enjoys playing guitar as it is someone he will be able to do for the rest of his life and a large part of this is down to Shane's encouragement and enthusiasm. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

Shane is a super teacher. We know him from school, but now since times of lockdown, he teaches 1-1 zoom. The lessons are really great, and very helpful for going at your own pace. Usually the 30min lesson involves: working through some songs from previous week(s), maybe a little bit of music theory, and then choosing some more songs based on likes/dislikes and then working through any new techniques or strum patterns etc in the new songs. My son has come on leaps and bounds and has now changed from uke to guitar. I really recommend these lessons, Shane is very nice and friendly, and you really can progress quickly with 1-1 lessons like this from someone who knows and loves music.

Shane has been teaching my son Ukulele since the summer of 2020 online via zoom. Prior to that he taught him face to face at his primary school. Shane is patient with my young son and has really helped bring on his confidence and enjoyment of the online lessons. My son loves the lessons with Shane and has lots of fun learning new songs, playing musical games and learning the Ukulele. Shane has a very nice teaching style which is perfect for children and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.
