If you're questioning where to go to get your guitar serviced, look no further. Peter had the challenge of fixing the set-up of my acoustic Taylor GS Mini and there are almost no words to describe the intelligence, knowledge, great care and attention to detail that has been given. This guitar had been messed around with by a number of people in the past and the sound, intonation and overall quality of the guitar made it sound absolutely nothing like the crisp and warm version I once had, meaning I actually stopped playing. Peter fixed, dressed and replaced all that needed attention, and even found that something originally in the invoice didn't need replacing so he actually saved me money. He will not do anything that doesn't need to be done, which I find rare nowadays. He thoroughly explained everything to me, and provided charts and forms to help with understanding the physics and engineering of my particular guitar, which is fantastic. There was some damage to the body where it had been hit and the wood was cracked quite badly. Peter took it upon himself to fix this for me, even though difficult and originally would've cost me a good £300 (at least) through Taylor themselves. Just wow! Peter has given me a lifetime investment for a guitar I didn't think could be saved, and in all honesty now sounds even better than it did brand new. Thank you!

Peter constructed my guitar from components I spent years researching and collecting after I had a heart attack and forgot everything! Peter not only put all the parts together but got a custom pickup built to match the wide string spacing. THEN he constructed excellent pickup electrics too. With the glass-like finish it looks really nice, plays well, and is so light to play it needs no effort. I have nothing but respect and praise for Peters work and give him the highest recommendation. Pete has set up at least 3 guitars for me, 2 acoustics and an electric. All have been to an amazing standard. I have another acoustic (Gibson J45 booked in also). His level of detail and knowledge of the instrument is second to none in my opinion. All of the guitars play absolutely beautifully with super low, no buzz action. Pete always gives a great explanation of his work carried out and documentation to back it up. He even offers a free 6 month follow up to check over the guitar to ensure it is still as good as it can be. The other guitarist in our band has the same model Faith guitar as me and always comments on how easy mine is to play compared to his own. He plans to have Pete set his up too. Pete is not cheap but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I wouldn't trust my guitars to anybody else.

Peter is a true expert craftsman / Luthier and what Peter has done with both of my guitars that he set up for me is fantastic. My Alvarez acoustic now has a lower action than a low action Martin, it sounds awesome and is so much easier to play. Peter also loves to share his knowledge and is an interesting guy to chat to.
