Most inconsiderate neighbour as a person and business. “Simone” teaches from his own flat but doesn’t take any of his neighbours into consideration. Doesn’t inform anyone of what he does, teaches and plays for hours a day (and night), 7 days a week and the volume is uncomfortably loud. Worst of all, stomps on the floor to keep a beat and teaches the same song over and over - endured Oasis’ Wonderwall for 10 months before we moved out cause of his selfishness. Also, when we knocked on his door to ask him to just turn it down a little, he would blatantly ignore us. I understand you have a job to do and appreciate what you do but if you’re teaching that much and you’re this busy, rent out a separate space and let other people relax in their own homes.

I had tried 3 other tutors and was just about to give up learning how to play guitar when I met Simone. Unlike my previous teachers, he's extremely easy to get along with, very well organised, skilful, and most of all, super patient! I started pretty much from scratch with him and after 6 months, I am already at a stage where I can play several acoustic songs of different genres, improvise on the electric guitar, and I feel like I am developing a strong theoretical foundation as well! My confidence is now much higher than it was. Rather than giving up guitar, I actually bought another one (at 3 guitars now and counting..), and every week I look forward to the lesson. Top marks, highly recommended!

Simone is a great tutor. He's always calm and patient and keeps me motivated. Even if I don't have too much time to practice outside class, he gives me helpful instructions on how to make my learning easier and pointing out where to improve. The system is also very handy, as I have all the notes Simone is sending me saved into my account and I can always come back to them. The great thing is that Your Guitar Academy is open to suggestions and is constantly improving.

Absolutely loving my guitar lessons with Simone. I've had about 15 lessons so far and am already starting to notice lots of progress (from complete beginner). The lessons are well structured and the online dashboard for your lessons works perfectly for me, meaning I can re-visit previous lessons at any point. He's constantly encouraging me and is incredibly patient. I chose to have lessons from home and this fits perfectly for me around Uni/work. I'm glad I decided to take lessons, worth every penny.
