What was gained by the gender switch? Much was lost…..Why change the order of the dialogue? Made no sense…. Disappointing

This Macbeth production was a revelation. I studied it at A level so thought it might be over familiar, but the performance was incredibly fresh, imaginative and astounding in places. My 17 year old son says it is the best performance he has ever watched. To present the witches as possessed zombies was inspired and the feast scene where Banquo's ghost appears was utterly riveting. We will be back for the next play put on by GSCT!

Our first experience with GSC and what a production. Macbeth was amazing. The church setting was stunning and complemented the production throughout. All of the cast gave outstanding performances and we were gripped throughout.

Saw Macbeth last night. Wow the zombie witches were great. Also Lord & Lady M were powerful, and - what a blessing - clear!
