    I recently rang to report that my order had not been delivered although the courier said it had I rang and explained this to the female who answered, when our call was finished she didnt hang up correctly. Although I tried to attract attention to let her know, I spent over 5 mins listening to her disparaging comments. Comments made to her male colleague about me as a customer, my small order, not waiting long enough for delivery, interupting her banana eating, updating my contact info and the absurd idea that couriers take photos these days of deliveries. My parcel was recovered 48 hours later the courier had never made the delivery to me! The whole episode left me extremely upset and will be looking into an alternative supplier for the future. **I feel it only fair to update my review . Since my original post I have been contacted directly by a representative of the company and I have received a genuine apology for my experience. Thank you

    We purchased 2 6 head embroidery machines from GS and they were fantastic from start to finish. All the staff are brilliant and so helpful even when I am being a little bit annoying. Nothing is ever to much trouble for them and we will continue to use for our embroidery supplies moving forward.

    Not impressed with the customer service I received today. My sister in law ordered me an assortment box of threads I sent her a screen shot of the Sulky Rayon . I received Poly 40 instead. To be fair to my sister in law when you look at the website the photos of all the assortment boxes look the same! I rang GS to clarify order and asked if I could return them and pay the difference between the two item's where upon I was told the there would be a RESTOCKING charge!!!! And the couldn't help me until the item was returned which I was prepared to pay postage Perhaps they should look at their website and use different images to help customers! Extremely disappointed not sure I would bother with this company and their threads again . I am Textile Artist and won't be recommending them to my students or to fellow members of The Embroideries Guild a big mistake on their part in future sales! I would also say this box of threads was a Birthday present and I haven't the heart to tell my sister in law what has happened! I use a lot of threads in my work and last year I was the overall winner of the Madeira competition so I will continue to buy threads from them instead of G&S!!
