Always easy to get through and always treated politely. Vets are so good with the animals and with their owners! Separate area for cats which gives them a little privacy from the dogs reducing stress. Texts to say when treatments are due and good online appointment booking. Recommend highly

Review edited in 2023 after pet health club membership plus multiple other visits that have been pleasant and helped out my dog Mason. However, communication on arrival RE wait times is still a bit of an issue. Original 1 star review below: Turned up at 1312 for a 1315 appointment. Not spoken a word about running late. 1330 rolls by and someone is called in before me. Still no communication from staff about when i’ll be seen. I’m on lunch. I don’t want to sit around indefinitely. Just let me know what’s happening. This has happened before and i’ve missed half a Spanish lesson because of it. If you have something to tend to after your appointment, book another day. You are not informed on arrival what the status quo is. I’m not asking for much, just comms. I had to leave without being seen.

Took our new rescue dog in to have a rotten tooth taken out. The tooth is clearly rotten and loose. Paid £60 for a five minute consultation to be told the tooth is rotten and needs to be taken out. At least a months waiting list and £1400 approx . The vet showed no interest in his health or sense of urgency that the dog is in pain. Very poor service and sense of care for the animal. Went to Acorn vets and cost a lot less with no extra consultation and no waiting.

A well organised Practice with caring staff. I took my cat I for neutering (ahhh) but felt she wad in safe hands and was right. Apart from the shaved areas and stitching she is just as affectionate..this is down to the care and treatment received at Grove Lodge..thank you
