I was invited on the wine tasting experience and didn't know what to expect. I actually thought it would be a German Market type event, outside with a huge crowd. How wrong was I. There was just our group of 5 and it was in the beautiful home of the owners of the vineyard. Rob and Liz were exceptional welcoming, the Christmas decorations really added some festive magic to a fabulous evening. It was an educational evening learning the processes that are involved in making wine, processo and champagne, and how the flavours are tailored. Knowing the process made the experience even more satisfying, the efforts it takes to make a delicious wine are far more than I realised. I'm no wine expert, if it tastes nice it's a winner, if I'm not keen, I add lemonade. There are not many wines I enjoy without making it a spritzer, however the difference of a quality wine compared to a supermarket batch buy means the shudder you (I) often get with a core acidic wine, did not occur. The prosecco is light and fruit, the rose is the nicest I've ever had, I personally think it knocks spots off Whispering Angels, the red win was delicious! Enjoyed by the fire whilst we moved from room to room during the experience. We were given a clipboard for scoring the wine based on personal preference, including colour, smell and taste. Again, learning what creates the colour and smell in wine made this scoring system much more valid. As a novice to wine tasting, this experience has set the standard very high, and I'll definitely be returning with a group of friends to share the pleasure. Highly recommended. Also to say, thank you to Rob and Liz for a fabulous night. 10/10

Absolutely wonderful wine and tour of the vineyard! Would highly recommend to others. Not at all an overly commercialised tour with small measures of wine like other vineyard tours. It felt like a very personal experience and we all greatly enjoyed it. Thank you so much Rob for being a great host whilst also being informative.

WOW, incredible! We had no idea what to expect from our 'wine tasting experience' and it was indeed much more. We learnt so much on the tour about the whole wine making process from the growth of the grape to harvesting, pressing, ageing, processing and bottling. Rob and Liz were fabulous hosts and who imparted so much knowledge - making us appreciative of all their care, attention and efforts in making their vineyard and wine business a success. We definitely recommend booking a tour and we can cannot support them enough! Oh.....and the wine was wonderful! Nicky & Andy, Stoke
