I had an engine management/ECU issue with my Peugeot 4007, which meant my car would just completely cut-out when driving, not ideal when doing 70mph on the M25 with kids in the car and the power dies !! I took it to 3 garages, prior to Damien looking at it and none of them could find or fix the fault, which to be fair was intermittent The car arrived with Damien and he quickly found the issue, which was the wiring from the ECU to the injectors, which a previous owner had some work done to and whoever did it re-routed the cable over the engine and this cable had rubbed some of the outer sheath off, exposing the bare wire inside. When this then touched the metal engine block, it short circuited the ECU, which then shut down as they are meant to as a safety feature, which in turn shut off the injectors, which in turn cut the engine and power to the car ! It was intermittent as the wire wasn't in constant contact with the metal part of the engine, but as the wire bounced around, it could/would touch the metal and 'POW' engine cuts out ! Damien took out the wiring loom, recovered the exposed part, then put another sheath over it for double protection and then re-routed the cable the way it should be, and being a Peugeot specialist, he knows exactly where it should go, and now it is fixed. He also checked and cleaned all the ECU connections and those to the injectors. The car now drives like a dream and is back to it's powerful best. I can't recommend Damien enough Great to deal with, very honest and takes time when giving your car back to fully explain what he has done, shows you the work and even advises on other bits and if they are worth him looking at
