    Service department is abysmal…The staff are friendly enough but unfortunately the mechanics aren’t very good. Both my wife and myself had service plans here but won’t be renewing them. My wife had her Beetle serviced there a while back and they didn’t tighten the drain bolt up properly which meant over the past few months, the car slowly leaked oil all over our drive. We took it to a local mechanic who immediately found the problem an replaced the bolt and did another oil change. I’ve just had my car serviced…I dropped off the car and returned home to find out that my plan had expired and that the service would cost over £400… They sent me a good video of the underneath of my car which told me the rear brake pads would need replacing soon…they quoted me £134.95. I agreed to this and asked them to go ahead…I then had a phone call telling me that price was wrong and the real price was nearer to £500! My local mechanic had just quoted me £155.00. When I picked up my car the oil level was only 3/4 full… They took the car back in and tried to fob me off telling me that they didn’t want to over fill it. They topped the oil off but I will never be returning as a customer and I’ll never recommend them.

    worst MOT EXPERIENCE EVER, stay away from this main dealer… NO RESPECT, we trusted as a main dealer but we made a huge mistake . JUST GO TO YOUR LOCAL M.O.T place or somewhere else… before we left our car we had personal items in the car but after the MOT they gone . clearly they said “we have no CCTV in our MOT area and we trust our staff…” DO NOT GO and DON’t make the mistake we did…

    Honestly the best Car buying experience I have ever had. Purchasing the car was straightforward and delivery option was an added bonus! Had a few issues with the car upon delivery, but these were sorted swiftly both under the VW Warranty and some covered as a goodwill gesture by Group 1. Even though there were initial issues, they were dealt with in a very professional and swift manner. Huge thanks to Adam and Tony for all their help! 10/10

    I took my car to get a service and MOT yesterday. It costed me 17£ for a new rear wiper blade and ALMOST £80 to get my tire pumped up. Altogether I had to pay £127 for the car!!!! I left my necklace and bracelet in a pocket at the front of the car when I dropped it off and it was no longer there. I searched everywhere in the car. I phoned the garage and they didn’t believe me as I couldn’t prove it. Even the manger told me there was nothing he can do. Its irreplaceable!!! All they said they could do was apologise…. 1-2 people did try and help but how can someone get away with this…. I thought that they could be trusted as it’s a well known dealership, my first time using them and also my last :((

    Visited the firm as my front assist sensor was not working, they wanted to charge me “£400 to recalibrate” when I looked the sensor needed clipping back in, took me 2 seconds and works perfectly. Can’t see how the mechanic / technician couldn’t help me when he surveyed the car in the first instance.

    Absolutely amazing, i rang them regarding my company car and a few issues i had, they booked it in the next day, fixed the problems and went the extra mile and did a bit more, i acme to collect the car and was treated like royalty, and with so much respect it was just a great experience from start to finish and a credit to the VW group x
