I'd found Ground Films after seeing a couple of other people on Instagram post about them and instantly knew I wanted them for our wedding. We did however spend some time looking at TONS of other videographers as Ground Films were at the top of our budget so wanted to be sure. But nothing compared and we knew we had to have them - it was nerve wracking hoping they'd be available for our date and they were! We were even lucky a second time when we had to postpone our wedding a year. From chatting to James & Ellie on a zoom call to run through how they worked and what we had planned for our day, to discussing finer details nearer the time and then of course the day itself. We had James & Connie filming and from the moment they showed up at the AirBnB for bridal prep we absolutely loved having them capture our day. They were friendly, chatty & Connie even handed me snacks while I was stuck in my makeup chair 😂 they managed to be equally attentive and communicative but also completely disappear into the background unnoticed. I felt like I didn't even see them the whole day apart from when they were directly with us! Everyone was mic'd up for speeches, including my stepdad last minute when he did an impromptu speech! During the ceremony, our usually calm & content smiley toddler nephew decided to do a fair bit of whining and luckily it wasn't during the aisle walk or vows. Instead it was during the father of the groom's reading, but James & Connie were amazing as they got him to redo it after the ceremony as if it were the real thing again so they could still use the sound/footage in our final video. Having a videographer was a non-negotiable for me and it was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding! To see all the parts we missed, to be reminded of all the details and different elements of the day that can easily be forgotten, and overall to have a film to look back on which makes you feel like you're reliving the day. We got our teaser trailer within a few days while we were relaxing on our honeymoon, and then you simply look forward to the final video. Our family & friends all said James & Connie were wonderful on the day and commented on how amazing the film is. We wish we could do it all again! 😂 We can't recommend Ground Films enough and a huge thank you to James, Ellie & Connie for everything. Emily & Ian x

We were on the fence as to whether we should use a videographer for our big day. Not only was having a videographer entirely the right decision, using Ground Films ensured we had the highest quality of videographer. Right from the get go, James, Ellie and Connie were all extremely friendly, professional and willing to listen to all of our wedding day ideas. We knew from the initial video call that we had chosen the right team. As promised, James and Connie managed to capture all the key parts of our day, whilst blending into the background and remaining calm, even if we weren't! In fact, some of the best laughs had on our wedding day were making jokes with James and Connie whilst we shot footage for our wedding film. The finished products (teaser, trailer and full length wedding film) were miles above what we could have ever expected. The high quality of the footage, combined with the teams unbelievable editing skills are second to none. The reaction the videos got from our family and friends was priceless. We regularly watch the video back and reminisce about one of the best days of our lives. If we ever need a videographer again we will, without question, be returning to the services of Ground Films. James and Ellie captured our wedding so beautifully that it felt like we were watching something at the cinema. The result is spellbinding and we felt like film stars. We also got stills and a preview soon after the wedding, which was perfect for instagram and to ease the wedding blues! Not only that but on the day they were so helpful ferrying items between us so much so that they could have been one of the wedding party! When deciding on a videographer for our wedding, most of the videos we watched left us feeling underwhelmed.. but after finding Ground films, there was no one else we would have gone with! All of their films were incredibly moving and we found ourselves crying at other people's weddings. As soon as we clicked on Ground Films' website and watched a handful of their clips, no other videographer compared, as Ground Films produce professional and incredibly personal films for every couple. James, Ellie and Connie are so friendly and somehow instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (most of the time we didn't even notice they were there, as they have an amazing ability to capture everything and all the small details from afar so as not to get in the way or be in your face). Having received our film, we are mesmerised by all the small details that they managed to include and the film really does capture our day beautifully. I first met James and Ellie at my cousins wedding in Cyprus in 2016, I must be honest, I didn't really notice them at the wedding as they were not in your face at all, I didn't even know they were there until they asked me to do a message for the bride and groom. It wasn't until we saw the wedding video that we were absolutely blown away with, I had honestly never seen a wedding video like it. Fast forward to 2022 and James came to film our wedding with Connie, they were everything that you need on the morning of your wedding. Came with a calming vibe, fun (singing disney songs with us to entertain the kids) and just extremely professional. We didn't even know they were there when we were getting married and with our guests, when we were taken away for shoots in the grounds they weren't posed for we were just told to have a chat, enjoy each others company and take a moment to take it all in. The outcome...absolutely mind blowing!! Everything I could have ever wished for and more, I cannot stop watching it. I had serious wedding blues after the wedding and this video is my tonic, I just couldn't love it any more. It is honestly the most priceless treasure I will ever own, I couldn't be anymore grateful for this. Ground Films has now been a part of my cousins wedding, my sisters wedding and now my own.
