Unfortunately Really poor experience!!! Booked over 3 months before going and pre ordered the food. 30 min after ordering we received our starters and then 1hr and 50 min before receiving our main meal from walking in the pub!!! When the food arrived it wasn’t correct, sweet potato fries were chunky chips, the steak was cold, drinks were missing and definitely not value for money what arrived on the table and they couldn’t even get the correct kids ice-cream correct, So much hope and so disappointing.

So when we entered, the FOH (front of of house) ignored us and didn’t even acknowledge us standing there. They were to busy on the on phone. We ordered drinks at the bar and the girls on the bar were fantastic. Friendly and quick. As we sat down to look at the menu, the waiter came over to take our order. As we were giving our order he walked away as my partner was in the middle of ordering to deal with a problem at another table where he stopped the food going back to the kitchen, which is also not best practise, with no apology. We had to ask him to return to take our order fully. The wait on food for main course was 1hr from ordering in a relatively quiet restaurant. Overall terrible service and not great food. Would not recommend.

The food was good and tasty. The beer was good, although there was only a limited selection of real ale. The service was good. Their prices are a little on the high side but probably par for the course in such a touristy area.
