I think it’s absolutely absurd to be woken up by the sounds of hammering, drilling and loud voices of construction workers everyday. There’s no peace nor quiet until about 16:00. We were informed of the construction works, but what were we supposed to do? Cancel our contracts and leave? Find a temporary place to stay? This is not ideal in anyway.

To the folks who want to know what’s real to live in Griffon, here’s a video of the construction noise of they drilling in the 10 am of the morning. The construction was enforced without our agreement and we didn’t get any compensation for that. Besides that, also checkout the last photo of a broken shower screen when I just got in. I had to speak to the management who’s very arrogant, and it took them 2 full weeks to get that repaired. DO NOT TRUST THE LOCAL GUIDE ON GOOGLE. The only advantage of living here is that it’s relatively cheaper than others.

Some staff at the reception are extremely rude. I have been living here for four months, but last night I could not open the door, the lady at the reception might tried to tell me to use the card but I could not hear her because of the closed doors. She did not help me to open the door but instead, she was extremely rude and disrespectfully said “unbelievable!” after I used the card and got in myself. This is highly unacceptable as I DID NOT PUSH HARD TO OPEN THE DOOR and I was NEVER told that I need to use to card instead of opening the door myself — which is what people has been doing for the past months. If I was opening the door in a wrong way she could’ve just remind me of the right way instead of sitting there doing nothing but yelling how unbelievable she thought I was, I didn’t pay this pricy rent to hear her complaint and let her doing nothing to help me:)
