My daughters have been attending LGA since September 2018. What started with a 1 hour street dance lesson soon grew to 7+ hours a week across all genres and they are absolutely loving their dance. The shows and festivals have been fantastic and a real experience and boost to confidence for them both. When COVID-19 plunged us into lockdown, LGA ensured the children didn't suffer and moved quickly to get their dance school online. I can honestly say keeping this going in lockdown saved my children (and us) from climbing the walls. The teachers came up with creative fun ways to keep them engaged and ensure they didn't fall behind with their syllabus work. Both my girls took numerous exams in lockdown, again this was down to the teachers working hard to adhere to special remote exams conditions. When classes moved back to the studios, the staff worked tirelessly to keep the children safe adhering to Government social distancing guidelines. Thank you to all the staff at LGA, you certainly showed where there is a will, there is a way.

Brilliant Dance School. I have been a pupil for 16 years. I have all types of dance and will be moving on to full time Dance College in September. Can't thank all the teachers enough, they have been so supportive and caring and I couldn't have asked for a better Dance School. I have too many lovely memories to mention and so many opportunities. thank you LGA! xxxx

All of my 3 girls have attended LGA, taking as many classes as they were able in Ballet, Modern, Tap Theatre, Street Dance, Acro Arts and Performance Squads, my youngest 2 starting with Pre-school classes. My eldest daughter is now a dance teacher after following her dreams which started in Primary Ballet with Miss Lucy. They have all had and my youngest continues to receive excellent dance training by qualified and dedicated dance teachers. They have made life long friends at the Academy and have all had many performance opportunities locally, in London and Disneyland Paris. I would highly recommend LGA.

My daughter has recently joined the Lucy Griffiths Dance and Theatre Academy. We have both been impressed by how friendly the staff, other children and their parents are. We have been made to feel very welcome. The standard of teaching is extremely high and the staff are totally dedicated to the school and its pupils. They recently did a show which my daughter loved participating in and we as parents were very impressed with the quality of the performance. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a dance school for this child.

All 3 of my children attended, starting with pre-school classes. The girls continued until they left school at 18, having taken advanced exams and developed a real love of dance and performance. They were well taught in ballet, tap, modern dance and jazz and always encouraged to do their best by dedicated teachers who knew them well and understood them. They had many performance opportunities, with the academy, professionally and with local operatic companies and made some really good friends.

Our daughter has been dancing with Lucy Griffiths Dance & Theatre Academy for many years now. She does different classes during the week and at weekends, getting many opportunities with the Academy. She helps out on Saturday mornings with the preschool and primary classes which she really enjoys and gets a lot of satisfaction from. She has entered many types of graded exams which she has achieved very high marks in. For the last three years, she has auditioned and been cast for dance teams in Christmas pantomimes, taken part in three theatre shows produced by the Petts Wood Operatic Society, and performed in three of the Academy's own shows.

My eldest daughter has been with Miss Lucy since 2010 (when she was 4yrs old) and my youngest since 2014. Feel so lucky to have found a dance school that my daughters love and teachers who have huge respect for. All the teachers love what they do and use dance to help bring up well rounded young people who love all the arts. Lots of performing opportunities for those that want too and she also has ex pupils now as teachers.
