What is your experience and training in biofeedback therapy?
At Greenwich Psychology, our therapists have extensive training and experience in biofeedback therapy. All of our therapists hold advanced degrees in psychology or related fields and have completed specialized training in biofeedback techniques. We also regularly attend continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in the field. What types of biofeedback equipment do you use in your therapy sessions?
We use a variety of biofeedback equipment in our therapy sessions, depending on the needs of each individual client. Some of the equipment we may use includes electromyography (EMG) sensors to measure muscle tension, electroencephalography (EEG) sensors to measure brainwave activity, and skin temperature sensors to measure changes in skin temperature. We also use software programs to provide real-time feedback to clients during their sessions. How long are your typical therapy sessions and how many sessions are usually required for treatment?
Our typical therapy sessions are 50 minutes long, although we may recommend longer sessions for certain clients or types of therapy. The number of sessions required for treatment varies depending on the individual client and their specific needs and goals. Some clients may see improvement after just a few sessions, while others may require ongoing therapy over a longer period of time.Do you accept insurance coverage for biofeedback therapy?
We accept insurance coverage for biofeedback therapy, although coverage may vary depending on the individual insurance plan. We recommend that clients check with their insurance provider to determine their specific coverage for biofeedback therapy. Can you provide references or testimonials from previous clients who have undergone biofeedback therapy with you?

I’m so grateful for my experience here at Greenwich psychology. From my first initial phone call and my appointments after that, I really felt like the team here is understanding, caring, and just overall a safe place. Also as a student, the lower pricing option was extremely helpful. I got CBT from Olivia for my anxiety and low mood for about 4 months and it’s helped me immensely. Definitely recommend!

What was initially therapy with Dr May for grief and years later for my own cancer illness, it has become a life changing journey for me and consequently for my loved-ones.

I am so extremely grateful for the help I received from Greenwich Psychology which helped me at a difficult time in my life. The option to have short, highly effective sessions working towards a goal, reassured me that I would be able to get the help I needed. Unlike other clinics there is not the expectation that this is a long term solution, but rather an honest and structured opportunity to work together to see real improvements and arm me with the appropriate tools to cope and understand my issues. I have used the clinic twice over the last five years and each time I have felt that the support and encouragement I received has helped me enormously. On another note, i also find the calm, non clinical décor and environment of the clinic reassuring at a time when I was struggling to understand my feelings. I felt heard. I highly recommend their services.

Very negative experience I had with them. Last year I and my daughter (13 at the time) really needed support and after our initial appointment noone contacted us or checked on us, despite I expressed that I am in a bad place and we, as a family, needed help. They promised that they will help us and support us and noone did. I trusted them and Greenwich Psychology let me down. Now I struggle to reach out for help, even to professionals.
