Ordered a bag of 25 coconuts. Delivery arrived one day late, with apology email on the original day of delivery. I understand, it happens. Once it arrived, driver asked for cash, without anyone mentioning payment on delivery prior. But fine, gave him money and he did not have any change on him. Not his fault, I blame dispatch manager (or whoever runs this circus). Once I opened the bag, unbelievable smell came out of there and there was one coconut cracked open. I took it out only to realise it is completely rotten and there were maggots everywhere, around the whole bag. Deeper in the bag I have found another three cracked coconuts, which don't bother me that much as I understand coconuts travel around the whole world to get to their destination. Email was sent to the customer service team stating the issue and I made them aware I am throwing the whole bag to the bin due to the smell and maggots everywhere. Same day, I received an email saying that they are going to speak to their boss and they will let me know. Two days later I contacted them again for an update only to find out that the boss, Sahin, was supposed to give me a call, but did not. I then called him and basically been told how stupid I am for asking for replacement/refund when throwing coconuts away. He did not want to hear anything about me not being told to keep them for collection by themselves. This is very poorly run business and when I told him that they should work on communication as they might lose customers this way, he only said that he does not care as they have enough customers and he does not have time for my BS. What a customer service, huh? Not their fault, I get it, but this is not what you do when your paying customer gets rotten product. I can't speak for the actual market and their stalls as I have never been there, but I am not coming back to shop here online, ever. And I would recommend you to be cautious too.
